1960s

Hideyasu Aoyama, MD, PhD, MPH '69, Professor Emeritus, retired from Okayama Medical School, was president of Kochi Women's University from 2003 to 2007, and served as chair of the National Committee of Community Medicine and Medical Education from 1994 to 1997. He is also an honorary lifetime member of the Japanese Societies of Public Health, Occupational Health, and Hygiene and Preventive Medicine.

Carl O. Helvie, DrPH '69, MPH '66, MS, hosts the Holistic Health Show, an online radio program.

Stephen Weinstein, ScD '64, MA, founded Communications in Behavioral Biology (CBB), a journal produced at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and published by Academic Press. CBB was the first computer-produced journal and was partially supported by the National Science Foundation.

Samuel Yeh, ScD '60, retired in 2005 from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he remains as an emeritus member, after 42 years of service.
